Common questions

I installed the extension but the pin button does not appear. What do I do?+

Make sure the LoopBack side panel is open by clicking the extension icon in your toolbar. If you are on a chrome:// or edge:// page, the extension cannot inject content - navigate to a regular http/https URL and try again.

My license key is not being accepted. How do I fix this?+

Double-check that you are pasting the full key including all four segments separated by dashes (LBCK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). If the error persists, clear the extension storage from Settings → Advanced → Reset and try again. Still stuck? Email us.

Can I use LoopBack on multiple computers with one license?+

Pro licenses cover one seat (one browser profile). Team licenses cover five seats. If you need to transfer a seat, go to Settings → License → Deactivate on the old machine before activating on the new one.

Where are my screenshots stored?+

By default, screenshots are saved to your browser's Downloads folder under a loopback/ subdirectory. You can change the save path in Settings → Storage.

Does LoopBack work with local dev servers behind a VPN?+

Yes. LoopBack runs entirely in the browser and does not make outbound requests to external servers when you are in offline/local mode. VPN configuration has no impact.

How do I cancel or get a refund?+

We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. Email loopback@promise.codes with your order number and we will process it within 2 business days.
